As one of the principal co-founders of BridgeFront, formerly HIPAA Solutions Rx, Mr. Cizik is helping to build the company into a leader in online healthcare education.

In 2002, HIPAA Solutions Rx was founded focusing on delivering a complete portfolio of products and services to provide training on and address the compliance challenges of HIPAA, for small and medium healthcare organizations. Today, BridgeFront owns the most comprehensive library available on HIPAA and a course library of over 350 titles in Nursing Management, LTC, Regulatory Compliance, OSHA, Joint Commission and Revenue Cycle Management.

By offering high quality, cost-effective products and excellent customer service , BridgeFront has withstood the test of time and has helped thousands of organizations in the process. 

Mr. Cizik received his BSEE from the University of Texas in 1986 and his Masters of Business Administration from The Harvard Business School in 1993.  In 1993, he joined Intel Corporation, where he held a variety of senior management roles, culminating as Director of Strategic Acquisitions for Intel Capital, where he helped build the organization's capabilities into a key component of Intel's growth strategy. 

After leaving Intel in 2000, Mr. Cizik served in senior strategic and business development roles for several software startups before co-founding BridgeFront.          

As one of the principal co-founders of BridgeFront, formerly HIPAA Solutions Rx, Mr. Lane is the driving force behind all e-learning and technology aspects of the firm. Training over 10,000 organizations so far, the e-learning platform is quickly becoming a leader in the market.

Mr. Lane has been delivering e-learning, software applications and professional services to healthcare and Fortune 1000 organizations for over 20 years. As a seasoned executive he has worked with some of the most recognized healthcare and technology companies in the world. Included in his portfolio are HBOC, Cisco, Tektronix, Ericsson, Motorola, 3M, Providence Hospital, Good Samaritan Hospital, Emanuel Hospital, and many State/Local Governments.

Mr. Lane pioneered e-learning in its infancy during his time at Computer Curriculum, a leading online training firm. Since CCC, he’s been instrumental in the development and growth of 3 start-up firms, the latest being BridgeFront.

Known for his dedication on product ease of use and customer satisfaction, Mr. Lane is an authority on delivering high quality, user-friendly products and services. His scope is international and includes many compliance aspects including ISO 9000 / 9002 Ticket and HIPAA. Mr. Lane has received multiple awards in the area of software applications and is published in "101 Service Ideas" for his innovation in service delivery. Mr. Lane holds an Electronic Engineering degree.

As one of the principal co-founders of BridgeFront, Ms. Schnelle is the leading author of all revenue cycle content and driving force behind all course development for the firm.

Ms. Schnelle has over 20 years of healthcare finance experience, including a directorship in Patient Financial Services for a large West Michigan hospital,. Also, she was a manager in the healthcare consulting practice of Ernst & Young and holds experience as an independent consultant. Ms. Schnelle has positively impacted cash flow and revenue cycle operations of small, mid and large healthcare organizations.

In partnership with Trinity Health, one of the largest Catholic health systems in the U.S., Ms. Schnelle conceived and developed an innovative revenue cycle learning curriculum for clinical and financial staff. Today, this curriculum is helping health systems across the country positively impacting cash flow and increasing the Revenue Cycle QuotientSM of staff at all levels.

Ms. Schnelle holds a BBA in Accounting from Iowa State University and is a licensed CPA. Active in HFMA, NAHAM, and AAHAM on the state and national level, Ms. Schnelle is a nationally known author and presenter on revenue cycle learning.  She recently facilitated a national workshop for HFMA titled “Building a Revenue Cycle Education Tool Kit That Pays” and her recent article on revenue cycle learning was published in the September, 2006 edition of the HFM Journal.

As one of the principal co-founders of BridgeFront, Claudia Birkenshaw has over eighteen years of managerial hospital revenue cycle experience and has worked over 25 years in the healthcare finance industry. 

She is the author of two books: The UB-92 Handbook for Hospital Billing, and The UB-04 Handbook for Hospital Billing, both published by the American Hospital Association.

She is the key speaker for HFMA’s Revenue Cycle Boot Camp which is offered Nationally throughout the country and has spoken for the Michigan Hospital Association, Emdeon, a state Medicaid association, HFMA groups, and various other organizations.

She holds a Master’s of Science of Administration degree from Central Michigan
University, is an active participant with the National Uniform Billing Committee (NUBC), and manages her own company, Modern Management Muse, The Art of Healthcare Finance.
