Peter Cizik, Co-Founder & CEO

As one of the principal co-founders of BridgeFront, formerly HIPAA Solutions Rx, Peter is helping to build the company into a leader in online healthcare education.

In 2002, HIPAA Solutions Rx was founded focusing on delivering a complete portfolio of products and services to provide training on and address the compliance challenges of HIPAA, for small and medium healthcare organizations. Today, BridgeFront owns the most comprehensive library available on HIPAA and a course library of more than 450 titles in Nursing Management, LTC, Regulatory Compliance, OSHA, Joint Commission and Revenue Cycle Management.

By offering high quality, cost-effective products and excellent customer service, BridgeFront has withstood the test of time and has helped thousands of organizations in the process. 


Peter received his BSEE from the University of Texas in 1986 and his Masters of Business Administration from The Harvard Business School in 1993.  In 1993, he joined Intel Corporation, where he held a variety of senior management roles, culminating as Director of Strategic Acquisitions for Intel Capital, where he helped build the organization's capabilities into a key component of Intel's growth strategy. 

After leaving Intel in 2000, Peter served in senior strategic and business development roles for several software startups before co-founding BridgeFront.

Kent Lane, Co-Founder & COO


As one of the principal co-founders of BridgeFront Kent is the driving force behind all e-learning, technology and marketing aspects of the firm.
 
Kent has been delivering e-learning, software applications and professional services to healthcare and Fortune 1000 organizations for over 20 years. As a seasoned executive he has worked with some of the most recognized healthcare and technology companies in the world. Kent pioneered e-learning in its infancy during his time at Computer Curriculum, a Stanford University spin off and leading K-12 provider. Since CCC, he’s been instrumental in the development and growth of 3 start-up firms, the latest being BridgeFront.

Known for his dedication on product ease of use and customer satisfaction, Kent is an authority on delivering high quality, user-friendly products and services.

His scope is international and includes many compliance aspects including ISO 9000 / 9002 Ticket and HIPAA. Kent has received multiple awards in the area of software applications and is published in "101 Service Ideas" for his innovation in service delivery. A SEO expert, Kent holds an Electronic Engineering degree.

Lorraine Schnelle, Co-Founder & Executive Vice President


As one of the principal co-founders of BridgeFront, Lorraine is the leading author of all revenue cycle content and driving force behind all course development for the firm.

Lorraine has 25 years of healthcare finance experience, including a directorship in Patient Financial Services for a large West Michigan hospital. She was a manager in the healthcare consulting practice of Ernst & Young and has experience as an independent consultant. Lorraine has positively impacted cash flow and revenue cycle operations of small, mid and large healthcare organizations.

In partnership with Trinity Health, one of the largest Catholic health systems in the U.S., Lorraine conceived and developed an innovative revenue cycle learning curriculum for financial and clinical staff. Today, this curriculum is helping health systems across the country positively impacting cash flow and increasing the Revenue Cycle QuotientSM of staff at all levels.

Lorraine holds a BBA in Accounting from Iowa State University and is a CPA. Active in HFMA, NAHAM, and AAHAM on the state and national level, Lorraine is a nationally known author and presenter on revenue cycle learning and leadership. She facilitates national revenue cycle staff and leadership development workshops for HFMA and her article on revenue cycle learning can be found in the September, 2006 edition of the HFM Journal.  Lorraine is an active volunteer, serving on the national HFMA Seminar Faculty Advisory Council, a member of the national NAHAM Education Committee, and as the current president of the Western Michigan Chapter of HFMA.

Mark Macdonell, Vice President of Sales


As the Vice President of Sales, Mark oversees all of BridgeFront's sales efforts. Mark has 25 years of sales and leadership experience in the healthcare industry. His background includes exceptional nationwide sales achievement, operations, company acquisition and integration, general management and board-level presentation experience.

Prior to joining BridgeFront, Mark was the Chief Operating Officer at Clear River Enviro, Inc., a firm in the pharmaceutical logistics industry. Prior experience includes, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Vestara where he built its sales and operational strategy and established multiple business partners for the firm.

Mark also held multiple executive positions at Omnicell, Inc., a leading provider of pharmaceutical device and software solutions targeting patient safety in healthcare facilities. Here, he continually grew sales, maintained high profits and helped the firm effectively integrate three acquisitions. Mark holds a Bachelor of Arts from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas. Beyond his commitment to BridgeFront, Mark resides in Texas with his wife and two children.

Dijo Alexander, Chief Technology & Development Officer


As the Chief Technology Officer, Dijo oversees the research and development of BridgeFront's Learning Management System applications and infrastructure. Dijo ensures the best delivery of BridgeFront online content to its clients, in a Software as a Service (SaaS) model.

Dijo has 20 years of experience in information technology research & development (R&D) and management, in several industries and technology platforms. Prior to joining BridgeFront, Dijo was the Director of R&D at Metrix, a CRM software company. Before that, he led the development of a Manufacturing Execution System software application for HK Systems. He started his career at Amphenol Corporation as an Applications Engineer in the Telecommunications and Defense industries.

Dijo holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Kerala University, India and a Masters in Manufacturing Engineering from Marquette University. He's architected multiple enterprise software applications in both .NET and Java EE platforms. Above and beyond his commitment to BridgeFront, he's involved with the establishment of standards and accreditation in Software Architecture, is an active member of the International Association of Software Architects (IASA), and speaks about application architectures and metadata-based applications.
