GRAND RAPIDS MI (April 23, 2008) – Jenny Griffiths Kwast, Dean of Nursing and Allied Health at Montcalm Community College, and Lorraine Schnelle, Executive Vice President at BridgeFront, are ready to introduce the new Revenue Cycle I and II programs (AHEA 130 and 230) to other community colleges in Michigan and the nation. Ms. Kwast and Ms. Schnelle will host interactive online seminars for community college leaders in June, providing insight and information on how to prepare the new program proposal, create an implementation plan, and monitor and track the program results.   
Montcalm Community College and BridgeFront have paired to create the first Revenue Cycle program being taught in the United States.

The Revenue Cycle I and II classes prepare students for jobs in Healthcare Admissions and Billing Processes. Students are eligible to take the Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA) exam at the end of the Revenue Cycle I class and the Certified Patient Accounting Technician (CPAT) exam at the end of the Revenue Cycle II course.  The program includes a hybrid blend of classroom instruction paired with students taking BridgeFront online Revenue Cycle courses at times convenient to them. The courses prepare students to be ready for a job in just one semester. The Revenue Cycle program provides healthcare institutions with prospective candidates who have already received training and can potentially cut the time required to train a new employee by up to 50%, saving both time and money.
