ICD-10 - Clinical Documentation Improvement Click for details
This curriculum consists of 17 courses discussing the coding changes and additional specificity that clinical documentation will need from providers under ICD-10. Employees will be introduced to key coding guidelines in ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS, followed by an in-depth look at chapter-specific coding guidelines and nuances that may impact DRG assignment—including principal diagnosis selection, additional diagnosis reporting, and sequencing. Courses utilize a combination of video-based lectures, quizzes, and course-specific final exams to engage students.

• Highlights additional information needed for key diagnoses and procedures and emphasizes the impact of ICD-10 on physicians.
• The courses use practical examples to illustrate the documentation needed.
