These interactive courses feature our new audio pronunciation tool and newly enhanced chapter review questions. The beginner’s course covers basic word building skills and the advanced courses teach the medical terms for the body systems, surgical procedures and more.

Course I: Word Building |
Introduces basic medical term word building skills that include combining forms, prefixes and suffixes. In addition, commonly used positional medical terms are introduced.

Course II: Body Systems |
Introduces the body systems and body. It identifies organs or body parts that are usually associated with the system or an area.

Course III: Procedures, Symptoms, and Acronyms |
Introduces terms associated with surgical procedures and symptoms, commonly used medical acronyms, and practical terms that have usage slightly different from the literal meaning of the word.
